Killer (microwaveable) Kale Chips

Here’s one for all you girls with a newfound obsession with kale. Again with the healthy eating, college can be difficult as it is, before you factor in the late night snacks while cramming for an exam. These microwaveable kale chips will help your salty craving while up late studying. They’re super simple to make, and only require a few ingredients. Just store them in a resealable plastic bag and you’re set! Feel free to add different seasonings with each batch, depending on your resources. Happy snacking!

Ingredients:

  • Fresh kale
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Other seasonings (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cut kale leaves off stem
  2. Toss kale with olive oil and seasonings in a bowl
  3. Place as a single layer on a microwave safe plate
  4. Microwave for 2 minutes
  5. Check for crispiness; add 15 second increments until they reach desired crispiness.
